I wanted to retain the same aliased, cel-shaded feel of that picture (which was just an experimental thing I didn't really stick with). I didn't do a 1:1 remake of the original because I wanted to blend together the old and the new, instead of slavishly trying to follow the original image.

Clip Studio Paint w/ Wacom Cintiq Pro 24, ~5 hours
The original was done with Paint Shop Pro 7 and a mouse in a few hours.
