It was a hot summer day and Caleb (me) and my wolf friend, Dakota, decided to spend it at the beach. When we got to the beach, we changed into our swim trunks and took off our shirts. We then set up our stuff and decided to go for a swim. We then held each other’s hand and walked toward the water. As we walked toward the water, other beach goers noticed a tag on my shorts. The tag read “super sweat and leak absorbent athletic shorts.” Neither I or Dakota noticed it. Dakota and I then got in the water. We then splashed each other and jumped with the waves. Not long after though, there became a loud draining sound. The lifeguard, who had been walking along the beach, noticed the water beginning to recede. Dakota and I stopped playing around, as we noticed the water level dropping. The water had been up to our chests, but it was now below our waste lines. It was then that Dakota noticed the water was rushing into my shorts. I then noticed my shorts were beginning to swell up. Then the water became low enough that sailboats began to crash and hit bottom. Then the last splash of water was absorbed. The entire ocean was now gone. Me and Dakota just stood there, dripping wet and my shorts swollen. There was nothing left except wet sand and seaweed. The lifeguard was shocked and looked across the drained seabed, looking for an explanation. He then saw me and Dakota standing there. He saw that my shorts were swollen to a massive size and he immediately knew where the water went. The lifeguard then approached me and Dakota. He then scolded us and told us that we were banned from this beach for life. However, since there was no more beach anymore, the lifeguard was now out of a job. So it looks like me and Dakota got the last laugh.
