Like I said, it's fun being a mountain of fat and muscle even compared to other rikishi. Sometimes I imagine myself bulking up even more, until I'm so huge and strong that I become an irresistible force and an immovable object all at once, even if it does make me too big to maneuver effectively in the dohyo. I'd never lose by being forced out or thrown... but I'd probably lose constantly by getting tripped up and landing on my massive belly or my colossal butt, and maybe have to end up limiting myself to Shokkiri (comedic, staged matches showcasing illegal moves, similar to Harlem Globetrotters games in basketball). So, honestly, I'd probably never actually go through with it. But it's still fun to fantasize.
I wonder if there's another timeline where I did actually get that big...YCH by

There is such a thing as too big for sumo. Sumo AU Sloan is already near that point. This alternate timeline version of Sumo AU Sloan you see here is very much past it, though he still manages despite being well over twice normal Sumo AU Sloan's weight. In a sumo match, the actual match starts when both participants put both fists on the floor of the dohyo, and ends when one participant either leaves the ring or a part of their body besides their feet touches the floor afterwards. But for this version of Sumo Sloan, his belly actually hits the dohyo on match start, so they had to make an exception for him otherwise he'd lose by default. He also can't charge or dodge and his shear bulk gets in the way of grappling, so he has to resort to arm thrusts and slowly forcing the opponent out of the dohyo. In fact, he actually finds it difficult to move in general - not for lack of strength, but just because his own shear bulk gets in the way of every movement.
But if he enjoys it, that's completely fine. And it's quite a sight to see such a mountain of a rikishi in action.
In scraps, because even though it's sumo, this is a really extreme size and you wouldn't ever see a rikishi anywhere near this big IRL.
