There is a lot of weight on her shoulders, the losing war against chaos, the lives that are lost during the war, her disappointment in Nigel for not seeing what is for the greater good and now her bratty adopted daughter with her petfriend gossiping about a fellow guardian and "childhood friend".
Maybe just maybe we will now see Luna lashing out at Miralle, giving her a short moment to vent out all her frustration only to regret it soon after she sees her daughter in tears.

Regular stealing, break-in, desecrating a shrine (or whatever this thing with scarfs was called), insulting the guardians (this might not be illegal but it's definitely a jerk behavior)
This is just from the top of my head.
Just because you feel sorry for Nigel doesn't make him innosent.

Miralle strikes me as a spoiled child, probably because she was raised by the tree of Life gives her a slight feeling of superiority. She also possess great magical potential(?) that's why she probably looks down on Leo as well since he has to do hard work and training.
My best bet is that if a real fight with a chaos spawn happens Miralle will ether use to much power to endanger somebody or she will be in shock since this would be the first life threatening danger for her. I may have missed something but for now it looks like she never had any real battle before, just patrol duty.

That's assuming she even tells them herself. It's given they're going to find out, it's just a matter of how.
That said I couldn't help but notice were shown Miralle and Chilli having what could amount to having all good things in life handed to them on a silver platter, which leads me to believe, it's going to get yanked away from them, very hard.
So far aside from problems that revolved around them in the past, they seem to have had it pretty easy, so to have at all yanked away from them due to unexpected circumstances, would be quite the shocker for them.

Option 1: Luna tells them now.
Option 2: They hear it from Leo.
Like most others i am not sure what the criteria are set for being a guardian, Luna seems to have a set of rules that don't make sense when you compare it to different characters. Almost every time a new page drop and Nigel is involved you get 2 camps, the one side that think Nigel deserve a punishment because "he is a brick" and "it's his own fault" and the other side with "#Nigel_did_nothing_wrong". Sure there is also a grey line where the blame is on Luna and Nigel but from what i have seen so far the two camps have both good points, for Nigel his life vent down hill for many reasons:
-His parents only cared for the fame and honor that comes with the title of Guardian, so they dropped him as Luna did not choose him for guardian. His parents are the biggest factor for Tristan's downfall and the main reason. If his parents where more ionate about a child instead of a title, Nigel would be a different man now.
But here is the kicker, this also makes it Luna's fault, she wanted from Tristan to have FREE WILL something he lacked since his only motivation was to make his parents proud. Tristan even states that his family has a tradition based on being a guardian and even here Luna says that "they might not started their journey from their own free will, but somewhere on their road they found their true calling."
This right there is what makes no sence, she denies Nigel for something others of his family also lacked "free will" but the difference was that others found the motivation for "free will" later. SO why could Nigel not be the same? What is so weird with Nigel that he would not be a caring guardian after she promoted him? It sounds just so stupid to me... Also he was a damn CHILD at this point, children aim for happiness in their life's, that's where the parents come in to teach a child and lead them to a path but since his own parents abandon him Nigel was a "lost cause". And even here Luna just could adopted him or send some demigod or senior guardian after him to be a teacher but nope Nigel HAS ti find his free will to be a caring person. How is he supposed to learn that when everyone around him fail to care about him? He sees nobody cares for him even the Tree-of-Life. And people still hate Nigel's guts just because he is a "insufferable asshole", Nigel is the most human character in the story so far, he is flawed and that makes him relatable.
In the same note lets talk about Chili, she nearly killed the tribe elder with a poison portion. True she had good intentions to help but she lacked the experience for mixing the herbs right. And as Chili was running away from home Luna offered here a place at her village, since "such a enthusiastic healer could be useful in the village".
Luna offers Chili help, guidance and a roof over her head, Chili nearly killed an old man but she has her heart on the right spot. What gives?
Tristan that poor boy also needed help but here Luna played the "you need free will to gain your happiness" card, she offered him advice but not real help, Tristan is trapped in abusive and toxic relationship with his "friends". People hardly can cut ties with manipulation abs by them self, so here a more direct help from Luna would have changed Tristan's life but then again Luna wants some "free will" of the mortals.
Leo on the other hand with his brute force has only one goal, to be strong so he can revenge his mother. He want's to be the best guardian to protect others only to be the best there ever was so he can take revenge, a selfish reason but apparently Luna is cool with it since the boy chose this path on his own?
And then there is Miralle, the summer child. We a view glimpses of her uprising and now her future adult self. Somewhere on the line Luna spoiled her, Miralle with a gift for magic that was raised my the Tree-of-Life sure gave her a spoiled attenuate. When Miralle gets grounded for another week in the story where she meets Chili, Miralle says "All the suffering i have to endure", she also hates studying and lacks discipline, this might where Leo and Miralle drift apart since he has a stern attitude while Miralle is aloof and carefree. Now fast forward to the present day we see a teenager/young adult girl, who has probably never suffered in her life. As the adopted child of the Tree-of-Life Luna probably healed her every time she got sick or got a injury. Also since this was Luna's first time rising a child by herself she would have made mistakes like all first time parents would do. But this is on a greater scale since Luna is a god and Miralle is so powerful(?), so somebody should be more assertive with Miralle.
Granted we see Miralle only as a brat now, she is probaly a good persona t heart like most of the cast but for now all hints on Miralles character leads to some tragic event happening.

More an unawareness of what mortals need, it seems she sees the ideal in mortal and wants them to strive for the ideal she has in her mind with the "free will basis". She fucked Nigel over royally and she still feels "sad" and guilt about what happens to him but keeps gaslighting him for his worldview she causes.
She makes it quite clear that the core element of being a Guardian is the "sincere desire to protect and defend those that cannot do so themselves." In other words, they are supposed to be driven to put themselves in harm's way to save others, to be a bulwark against threats and danger for others. She also asserts that this desire should be genuine and self-serving, a product of so-called Free Will, rather than based in some other selfish desire such as pleasing others.
Even based on what we're shown, it's quite plausible to speculate that all of the Guardian types - Leo, Miralle, Chili, Toby, probably Tristan, and maybe even Nigel's parents - would actively step into a dangerous situation to save complete strangers or even people they dislike, even at great personal risk to themselves. Nigel likely has no such inclination at the moment, and would at best merely run away from such danger to save his own skin.
This doesn't mean that Guardians are all nice people. It is not required for them to be Kind or Charitable or Courteous or Friendly or Cheerful or even generally Helpful. It certainly doesn't mean they will necessarily be good parents. It simply means that when the chips are down and lives are on the line, they charge in to help (even if that help winds up hurting more due to short-sightedness, in the case of Chili) instead of running away to save themselves, and for no other reason than It Is The Right Thing To Do.

Can't help but see an issue with with how the Tree is coddling Mira and allowing to act like a brat while Nigel gets all the blame. Not that I'm forgiving Nigel. I see a potential in him and a need for change. But Mira just goes off acts lazy, floundering her right as the child of the world's diety and mocking the others who train hard.
Course this is a weekly , and the story is still going. But I felt like finally dropping some thoughts on the story. Really happy to see we are in the thick of the story now

Nevermind that if you look at Leo's start, his whole reason to become a Guardian was to rub it into his Old man's face.
Rather certain he also had a disregard for weak people, which was the reason he even spited his old man in the first place.
Sooo... I am pretty confused. What made Leo different from Nigel? Why tell Nigel to bugger off, while keeping Leo? They were basically the same, yet had opposed personalities, and one wore his heart on his sleeves... Which was Nigel.

Even if I feel bad for Luna here, I must say that it's good to see that she continues to be a kind and tolerant mother to Mira and Chili; that's still a good thing. However, the fact that Mira and Chili are still spoiled brats is still a bad thing, which I hope is fixed later in the story.
Whoa, hold up.
*digs into the records*
Yup. She's a burger fanatic.
All is forgiven, Luna. You go, girl!

The pride is the devil. I'm intruiged to see what life lessonthese girls are going to have to learn because hot damn they are annoying as of right now.
The tree of life is weighted. Like a stressful single mother, which it seems she is. Along with a spoiled teen.. young adult?
This mirror some real world shenanigans beyond the fantasy aspect. Some people grow up with greatly varied experiences even when they are apart of the same community.

Nah, Leo's not a Douche, he's just wound up and realistic. It would not surprise me if he's one of the few guardians well aware of the rising threat... And only because he has been noticing a lot of have not been returning from missions that should have been brief recon.
I mean, the way he barged in when he thought Luna was in danger? It implies both him and the other guardians there were those that were aware of the loosing battle the Guardians were suffering, and they were expecting an assassin.
Its likely why he was even more harsh on Nigel. He understands the burden she carries, and has been trying hard to make things a little easier for her... Though funnily enough, Leo's start was none too different from Nigel's. Supposedly, Nigel was not accepted because he lacked the deep-seated desire to watch out for the weak... Yet Leo pretty much wanted to be a Guardian to Spite his old man... And seemed to care even less about weaker people.
So... What makes Leo and Nigel any different? I mean, Leo clearly was dragged out of his unwillingness to care for weaker people by being under the guidance of Luna, yet she rejected Nigel, who was rather plucky at the time, to... Become Spiteful?
I am really confused.

Everyone makes comments about Miralle and Chili acting like bitch about Leo, but :
1) We only saw their point of view, maybe Leo deserves a part of it all.
2) Everyone is making generalizations so we lack a lot of information on how they behave except with Leo, and from the little we have seen it was very correct. Leo can be a unique case.
3) Sometimes, there are people who provoke an allergic reaction as strong, violent as irrational. No one understands why, even them, but they are viscerally annoyed. Just like that.
4) Considering Leo's motivation to become a Guardian, and his already very youthful behavior with his father, it can't be excluded that Leo is the one who committed first a mistake to Miralle and Chili, and from that day on, their relationship only got worse. Crap, read again the Ch 2 of Book 0 : clearly, their relationship was off to a bad start.

I'm getting the impression that Nigel's situation is weighing heavily on Luna shoulders. Not only that, but she's starting to notice more flaws in all her potential knights now.
I don't know if this is the case, but it almost sounded like Luna had more hope for Nigel then most of us realized. And now with the whole situation with Nigel, Luna is starting to notice other things and is having some doubts.

Spoiled as hell?
Man literally was raised to be the best him that he could only to be met with cryptic metaphors and no answers, then only to be disowned by their family and ending up on the streets.
He then meets the tree on a later occasion only be told he lacked the genuine will to protect people, which he had but got denied regardless which makes even less sense looking at these other sorry excuses for knights and guardians we've seen so far.
Oh and now he's been blinded with some more cryptic nonsense, i feel the guy has a reason to be a little upset
If anything the tree is showing blatant favouritism for Mira and Chili who need i remind you have alot worse track record than Nigel ever did, Chili almost having actively poisoned people, with good intentions sure, doesn't excuse the negligence however

What exactly did Nigel do wrong then?
He deserves every shitty thing that happened in his fucked up life including being crippled.. why? Because he was mean to glowy mommy milkers? Who ruined his life for BS reasons? Because she measured him by a standard she applies to no one else INCLUDING his parents and brother? Who by the way never gave a damn about nigel, never tried to look for him or cared if he was alive or allready dead?
Nigel is best boy because from all the cast, he is the most relatable and is acting the most realistic according to his lives circumstances. His motivations and outlook on live are believable and logical. As far as we know no one, not even his own brother after growing up, ever showed the least bit of care for him. So why should he care for anyone? This is what LIFE actually tought him up to this point.
Though i agree that a hashtag is a tad silly XD

You know, for a town that's supposedly full of people that "truly want to help people" aka. the guardians, it's odd that there are still beggars in the streets. As odd that the only person we've seen actually help one was the person people in the comments, said guardians and their god consider to be next step down from the devil himself, aka Nigel.
Interesting... If Ragah would try to convert Nigel, he actually couldn't show him anything he doesn't already know or feel. So question is, what will be Nigel's position in future? Will he betray others as well, or will he become the only one standing against corruption?
As far as nigel knows she crippled him for life. All her cryptic lines went right past over his head because you know.. she just blinded him! For all he knows he is never going to be able to see again.
Shes a manipulative, gaslighting sociopath. How can she expect nigel to ever develop a sincere desire to help others? If he ever finds out that she manipulated his entire life to turn him into some savior figure its all over! And as we saw with the old guardian, skully boi can be VERY confincing and KNOWS stuff that is shocking enough to turn even the most seasoned guardians to his side and make them loose faith in the gods.
He wouldnt even have to lie to nigel to turn him against luna... just tell him the truth... "your entire life is hell because the deer goddess needed you to become a perfect savior figure because the gods are to inept to deal with me on their own, you are nothing but a sacrificial lamb in the gods plot, no one ever cared about you... hey have i told you that im recruiting?" XD
